Network Live Presents: The Fray on AOL This Friday

Tuesday, August 01, 2006

Live Performance from Colorado’s City Lights Pavilion Exclusively on AOL Music Friday, August 4

The Fray are a Denver-based foursome whose melodic pop-rock songs and soaring vocals resonate with sprawling tapestries and tales of hopefulness and heartache.
Formed in 2002 by Isaac Slade (vocals, piano) and Joe King (guitar, vocals), old high school friends who were reunited at a local music store, it didn’t take long for the talented musicians to bring drummer Ben Wysocki and guitarist Dave Welsh aboard. The band started playing local shows in Denver and soon earned a loyal grassroots following through impressive performances and the support of local radio. The band signed to Epic Records in 2004 and released their debut album How To Save A Life last September.

The Fray entertained their hometown of Denver, Colorado in a sold out performance at the City Lights Pavilion on June 24. They played favorites “Over My Head (Cable Car)” and “How to Save a Life,” along with various other tracks from their album. Now you can watch fans sing along as The Fray light up the Rocky Mountain skies with their unique melodic pop rock. Join them, courtesy of Network LIVE, on AOL Music this Friday, August 4.
