2006 VMA Awards - My Take

How was the 2006 VMA Awards to you? There were a few moments, like when Lil' Kim walked out on stage in prison getup before revealing her outfit, two of the finest men in hip-hop, LL Cool J & 50 Cent, the Kings of Queens were on stage at the same time--good eye-candy for the ladies. Beyonce did an electrifying performance and so did TI. Otherwise, it was kind of boring compared to past years. I was glad to see Chamillionaire win, not only because I'm from the Dirty South, but because he was just so grateful to win it. I was surprised of the outcome of some of the other awards--quite a few upsets.
