Interview with Baby Boy Da Prince
Monday, October 09, 2006

Who gave you the name Baby Boy Da Prince?
My manager Melvin named me Baby Boy and I've always called myself "Da Prince".
I'm from north Louisiana and I'll never forget what happened in August
2005. Where were you when Hurricane Katrina hit?
On my block floating with everybody else. I stayed through the storm.
Was it hard adjusting to the fact that New Orleans is no longer the same
city you grew up in?
Yes.
How do you think your music can help revive New Orleans?
My music is New Orleans, so anything that originates or comes from that city can revive it.
In concerts, you've opened up for Juvenile, Paul Wall & 50 Cent. Do you think having that exposure has helped prepare you for this CD?
Yes.
Do you have any special guests with you on this CD?
Yes.
What can listeners expect when they pick up your CD?
Real good music.
If your life was a reality TV show, what would be the title of the show
and why?
The Way I Live, you can't get no realler than that.
Across The Water (Extreme Ent./Republic Records/Universal Records) will be in stores in December.
