Magazine for Women Available in New Locations

Richmond, Virginia - Customers at Richmond, Henrico, and Chesterfield Wawas and Newport News Krogers will now be able to find a new item in the stores: Average Girl Magazine. This publication by Rebekah Pierce strives to show every woman how she is extraordinary. The magazine usually comes with a per-issue fee, but Pierce offers them free at these new locations. She states: I really wanted to find a feasible and easy way to get Average Girl in the hands of working women. I felt that with so many of us having monster schedules, the only places we really had time to stop at on the way home from work, church and picking up the kids was a convenience store. That's a second home to many working women.

To further the mission of Average Girl, Pierce holds events such as the upcoming Wellness Fair for the Working Woman. This event will introduce women to information and services about health, healing, and wellness. Many services and products will be available from acupuncturists, skin care specialists, and more. Representatives from Riverside Hospital will be present, offering blood pressure screenings free of cost and cholesterol screenings for a fee of $15. This free event will be held on October 18th, 2006 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at the Comfort Inn at 3200 West Broad Street.

AverageGirl Magazine is headquartered in Richmond, Virginia and distributed nationwide and in Canada. For more information, visit www.averagegirlmagazine.com or call (804) 274-8976.
