Shanice Interview - One on One

Tuesday, June 13, 2006

Shanice Wilson was the little girl with a beautiful voice on Star Search that wooed music executives. Now she's all grown up and singing about things that concern women. With a successful early career, Shanice took a sabbatical, but now she’s back with Every Woman Dreams. Some wonder why she left the music scene when she did. She addressed some of those questions and more in a recent interview I had with her.

RANDOM THOUGHTS with Shanice:

Do you keep a journal? No. I told myself I wanted to start though.
What’s the last CD you listened to? I listen to so many of them. It would be Mariah Carey…The Emancipation of Mimi.
What’s the last movie you watched? Mission Impossible III – very exciting…a lot of action.
What’s your favorite time of the year? Summer…I love the heat…I hate to be cold…right now in California it’s in the 80/90s.
Where is your favorite vacation spot? Maui. When me and my husband went, I think that was one of the best times I had on vacation.
Do you prefer slow music or fast jams? It depends on my mood…sometimes I just want to hear slow music and then other times I just feel like dancing and want to hear something up-tempo…I like them both.
What’s your favorite TV show? American Idol

“With Every Woman Dreams, I want people to follow their dreams and keep dreaming. Not just the women, but men too. That’s what I’ve always done,” says Shanice. Read the full interview by CLICKING HERE.
