Review for Nya Jade's My Denial CD

When glancing at the CD cover of “My Denial,” it’s easy to assume that Nya Jade is just another R & B singer. Nya Jade’s music is more rock and/or pop than anything. If you’re a Tracy Chapman fan, then you will definitely like “My Denial.”From listening to this 12-track CD, I think Nya Jade can bring some of the flair of Tina Turner to the rock genre. This multi-talented singer/songwriter’s skills are showcased throughout the CD. It’s evident that she dances to her own tune and took a leap of faith by doing music her way. With her unique style, I feel that she has a winner with her soulful, yet rock debut release “My Denial.”
If you want good music, good lyrics and something different to listen to, then Nya Jade’s My Denial is a CD you must have. It’s in my top 10 favorites for the year.
